And it is our belief that all children should have the opportunity to speak about compromising situations in a safe and friendly environment The Indico Children’s solutions are an integrated part of many children’s advocacy centers. As safe and comfortable as the child should feel when entering an advocacy center (Barnahus), the people working and helping the children should feel equally as safe and comfortable knowing that the Indico software will record everything correctly the first time. Hence minimizing the number of times a child will have to go through the unpleasant situation of explaining their experience(s). Recording the entire conversation the first time means that you can present full documentation without having to bring in the child for questioning again. SOLUTION Our solution aims at minimizing the number of times a child will have to go through the unpleasant situation of explaining physical, psychological or sexual abuse. In order to facilitate this our software conducts a cyclic redundancy check every five seconds to ensure that audio and/or video feeds are being captured correctly. Our solutions further utilize a unique checksum so that all recordings can be authenticated by a prosecutor or judge, hereby eliminating the ability to edit out inadmissible portions. Also, with today’s high quality video and audio sources the user is able to capture a child’s non-verbal communication. Last but not least you can easily make an on-going interview available to other relevant members within a multi-disciplinary team via a live stream to a remote location. |
